Salary band: £22,500 – £32,500 (dependent on experience)

Location: London based at British Paralympic Association (“BPA”) headquarters at 60 Charlotte Street, London W1T 2NU

Job Description: The Commercial Officer is an integral member of the Commercial team. The role exists to support the Commercial Manager as the BPA works towards achieving its ambitious goals for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games.

The purpose of the role is twofold:

1) The Commercial Officer will support the Commercial Manager with the day to day account management of several of the BPA’s existing partners.

2) The Commercial Officer will also play an integral part in the Commercial Team’s fundraising strategy, with a focus on participant experience, compliance and income targets

The BPA is the lead organisation responsible for the Paralympic movement in the UK. With Paralympic sport in the spotlight like never before, the focus now is on ensuring we retain our status as a world leading nation, by creating a ‘best prepared’ environment for our athletes to thrive at future summer and winter Paralympic Games, whilst building on the momentum of London, Rio, and PyeongChang to maximise its impact and the delivery of our wider vision: “through sport, to inspire a better world for disabled people.”

The Commercial team are responsible for securing the income needed to achieve this ambition, as well as driving forward the BPA’s vision through appropriate activation of commercial and public facing opportunities.
