In what is a hugely exciting time for Welsh boxing, the Welsh Amateur Boxing Association (WABA) is planning to further support and develop the sport in Wales. In order to exploit fully the unprecedented growth of interest across our sport, WABA is looking to appoint an experienced General Manager with leadership capabilities who will be able to continue the expansion of boxing through our network of boxing clubs and lead the day to day management of the organisation.
The successful candidate will work across the organisation to manage and deliver across the three key areas of; Finance, Governance, and Operations.
Do you have:
• Leadership experience within a small, fast growing organisation, ideally in UK sport
• Ability to lead and motivate staff and volunteers
• Experience of managing financial budgets
• Understanding and experience of managing governance and processes effectitvely
