We are looking for a highly skilled Trust and Statutory Fundraising Officer.
To support Director Wales to develop and secure external funding to support identified project activity within the Ramblers Cymru business plan 2017-2020.
It is important that the successful candidate can. Develop good relationships with potential funders and supporters
You will need to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and
. Prepare compelling written and verbal applications to funding bodies and make funding applications that match the funders given priorities
. Scope the Ramblers Cymru potential for funding; identify priority target funders with a view to maximising income from trusts, foundations and statutory grant programmes.
. Identify ‘core’ activities and work with key internal stakeholders to package into fundable projects.
. Research and initiate approaches to newly registered Trusts in Wales
. Develop and maintain excellent on-going relationships with funding bodies in both a written and face to face capacity.
You will be able to:
. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the funding opportunities for the Third sector across Wales
. Work well with detail and to tight deadlines
. An understanding of the ‘physical’ health agenda would be beneficial
. Demonstrate that you understand and support the Ramblers’ core values.
Provide strategy and direction. Is a member of the GB Senior Management Team.
Policy & Advocacy Manager
Provide political engagement. Advocates for Ramblers Cymru’s mission through stakeholder relationship building with those with influence.
Engagement & Communications Officer
Responsible for all internal and external communications. Supports and promotes all project activity.
Supports the Director Wales to deliver an effective and highly functioning Welsh Executive Committee and annual Welsh Council.
Area Support & admin officer
Provide support and training for areas. Support all the office administration needs.
People & Walking Officer
Supports and advises existing Ramblers Groups in Wales, to walk safely. Delivers the walking event challenge BIG Welsh Walk. Advises and supports other groups & audiences to go walking.
Walking Spaces Officer
Supports and advises the Cambrian Way team. Provides Rights of Way and footpath maintenance advice to members, LA’s & Community councils.
