SUMMARY:Sport Resolutions Annual Conference 2022
DESCRIPTION:\nSport Resolutions Annual Conference 2022 in association with Winston & Strawn LLP will take place on Thursday 5th May 2022 at the five-star Leonardo Royal London Hotel (formerly the Grange St. Paul’s Hotel).\n\n\n\nAs with past events we will have an esteemed panel of sport professionals and industry experts to discuss the latest news and ideas in the areas of anti-doping, athlete welfare, good governance and integrity. \n\n\n\nThis year we are planning to increase the number of sessions to six in order to cover more topics and increase audience engagement. Two of these will last one hour each, with the remaining four at 30-45 minutes each.\n\n\n\nThis year we will be having six sessions in order to cover more topics and increase audience engagement. The subject areas being covered are:\n\n\n\nA review of the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code – has it had a positive impact?Sportswashing, law and the politics of sportMothers in sportLegal implications of NFTs in sportsDSD and trans athletes: A review of genetics, biology, ethics and the impact on binary sex categories in sportRegulation and governance in esports\n\n\n\nThis year’s event will be moderated by BBC journalist and presenter Holly Hamilton. \n\n\n\nEvery year we host over 200 legal and sport professionals at our event. These conferences provide many opportunities for our attendees to network. We serve breakfast (hot drinks and pastries) during the registration period where attendees get an early opportunity to meet other professionals as well as during the two coffee breaks and the open buffet lunch. \n\n\n\nWe also host a separate breakfast between 8am and 9am in association with Women in Sports Law (WISLaw), to encourage female profesionals to meet and share views (please note that the WISLaw breakfast is also open to male professionals if they wish to join).\n\n\n\nAnd finally after the conference we will host a networking drinks reception in the hotel’s Sabine Rooftop Bar with spectacular views over St Paul’s Cathedral and the London skyline.\n\n\n\nFor full details about this brilliant event and to book your place, click here. \n
