Non-Executive Directors – Mid Wales Sport Partnership

Mid Wales Sports Partnership are recruiting THREE innovative people to join our Board of Non-Executive Directors. They are seeking a Vice Chair, Finance Director and Non-Executive Director to help drive the ambition of Mid Wales.

They are keen to hear from anyone who:

is comfortable asking questions which will help us grow,
has experience within the above areas,
brings diverse insight and understanding to discussions with a strong philosophy of equity, inclusion, and diversity.

If you have some time to give and are passionate about physical activity, inclusion and our beautiful region, and would be willing to champion, challenge and support our work, we would love to hear from you.

These Positions are voluntary and as a Non-Executive Director you will need to be:

Available for Board Meetings, which:

are normally 2 hours (with additional time required for preparation)
happen once every two months initially but working towards every 3 months as the organisation becomes more established.
are accessible via Teams or Zoom (and face-to-face when possible).

Available to attend MWSP events, or represent MWSP at events (as your availability permits):

MWSP will cover any travel or subsistence costs which might arise because of attending
Briefing support will be given if required
Board members should be available to attend board away days as scheduled

Creating and maintaining positive and productive relationships with stakeholders.
Uphold and work towards the vision, mission, values, behaviours, and objectives of MWSP and ensuring the organisation continues to work towards these.
