Squash Wales (SQW) are recruiting for the following Board Director roles:
- Marketing and Communication
- Compliance and Governance
- Development and participation
This is a very exciting time for Squash in Wales, with a solid base of participation and increasing success on the International stage. We are looking to appoint a passionate and innovative individual with a specific range of skills, knowledge, and experience to join the Board.
Applications are welcomed from any person who is eligible to undertake the available roles and meets the specific requirements (see criteria below). Details of requirements can be found in the Squash Wales Criteria and Procedures for Board Candidate Selection as a Director document. Squash Wales would particularly welcome women or people from BAME communities to apply.
The Squash Wales Board’s role is to:
- Set Squash Wales vision and strategic aims
- Provide leadership and expertise
- Set Squash Wales values and standards
- Support Squash Wales staff
Remuneration – The role is voluntary with reasonable expenses paid. The time commitment is approximately 1 day per month.
