DESCRIPTION:The Welsh International Open is the biggest event in the Badminton Wales events calendar.\nThe Welsh International (WINT) is an annual event in the Badminton Europe calendar. WINT will welcome world class players to Wales, to battle for vital world ranking points in a display of some of the best badminton in the world.\nWINT will return to Sport Wales National Centre from the 26th November- 30th November 2024!\nVolunteering at this event is a great opportunity to get court side.\nHere are the volunteering roles we have available:\n\nPlayer/ Spectator Support\nMedia Coverage\nMatch Control\nVIP & Officials Support\nGeneral \n\nAll of the above roles are adaptable and can be altered to suit any area of the event you would like to be involved in.\nThe Volunteering Shifts we would be looking at are (Tuesday- Saturday):\n\n9:00-13:00\n13:00-17:00\n17:00-21:00\n\nHowever, these times can be altered to suit if they don’t work for you!\nTraining will be provided, if required for your role, before the event as well as clothing and food on any days you volunteer.\nIf you would love to be a part of a world class badminton event here in Cardiff, please email Beth (Major Events Officer) with the following information:\n\nRoles of interest & your availability\n\nBeth Chamberlain-Carter- bethan.chamberlain-carter@badminton.wales ( https://badminton.wales/wint-2024/bethan.chamberlain-carter@badminton.wales )\n
