The Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) supports projects that provide social, environmental, economic and cultural benefits, to improve the quality of life for communities in the National Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This fund includes opportunities for those projects which “realise health benefits afforded by outdoor access and recreation.”<\/p>\n

\nOur way of life is placing an increasing burden on the water, land and air upon which we all depend. Fluctuating fuel prices and constant warning of the effects of climate change mean that many of us are trying to live in a more sustainable way. This means that we have to balance our social, cultural and economic needs with those of the environment, in order to protect our natural resources.<\/p>\n

How much funding is available?<\/strong>
\nPembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority\u00a0has allocated more than \u00a3150,000 to the fund for the 2018-19 financial year, to provide financial and practical support to\u00a0projects within or benefiting Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and its communities.<\/p>\n

Who can take advantage of the fund?<\/strong>
\nIf you are an individual, group of individuals, small business, a local organisation or a community group that has an idea for a project that will help improve the quality of life for current and future generations living in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, you could benefit from Sustainable Development funding.<\/p>\n
