Kerry is an experienced HR professional with 25 years of experience, and has served on the Canoe Wales board since 2018.<\/div>\n<div data-element-type=\"image\" data-widget-type=\"image\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"1250789679\" class=\"u_1250789679 dmNewParagraph\" data-element-type=\"paragraph\" data-uialign=\"center\" data-dmtmpl=\"true\">\n<p>&#8220;Kerry brings a wealth of experience to Canoe Wales and to our Board and we are very excited to see the direction that her leadership and expertise will take Canoe Wales over the next two years,&#8221; said Canoe Wales CEO Jen Browning.<\/p>\n<p>The Board also thanked outgoing Chair David Wakeling for his many years of service to Canoe Wales.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"1250789679\" class=\"u_1250789679 dmNewParagraph\" data-element-type=\"paragraph\" data-uialign=\"center\" data-dmtmpl=\"true\">\n<p>About Kerry:<\/p>\n<p>Kerry Chown has over 25 years in senior HR roles, with an MSc in Human Resource Management. Having founded Cobalt HR in 2016, she works with organisations to help them raise business performance by implementing robust people management practices. These include employee engagement, recognition and reward and performance management, alongside providing general operational support. Kerry works with many sport organisations and other third sector bodies, plus a range of private sector businesses.
