{"id":23727,"date":"2021-05-14T14:24:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-14T13:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/?p=23727"},"modified":"2021-05-17T16:17:34","modified_gmt":"2021-05-17T15:17:34","slug":"wsa-advocacy-update-14th-may-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/cy\/wsa-advocacy-update-14th-may-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"WSA Advocacy Update 17th May 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WSA Advocacy Update 17th May 2021<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new First Minster of Wales, Mark Drakeford MS <a href=\"https:\/\/wales.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e081ef09679651a51ef0aa03a&amp;id=67abacce28&amp;e=e809db8d03\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">confirmed on Friday that Wales will move to Alert Level 2 today.<\/a>\u00a0Further packages of financial support for businesses impacted by restrictions have also been announced and there is an eligibility checker <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6J1zMkWWet?amp=1\" class=\"ek-link\">here<\/a>.<br><br>At alert level 2, up to 50 people can gather outdoors for organised activities, and 30 can gather indoors. Most businesses previously closed by the Coronavirus regulations can now reopen, with exceptions including ice rinks, nightclubs and other late night venues.<br><br>During his press conference on Friday, the First Minister suggested that a move to Alert Level 1 &#8211; including larger gatherings, and the possible return of larger events &#8211; could be considered during the next statutory review of lockdown regulations announced on the 4 June.<br><br>Last week, following his confirmation as the new First Minister of Wales, Mark Drakeford MS has also announced the new Welsh Government cabinet, the press release is available <a href=\"https:\/\/wales.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e081ef09679651a51ef0aa03a&amp;id=ce46484eff&amp;e=e809db8d03\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">here<\/a>, ac yn Cymraeg <a href=\"https:\/\/wales.us15.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e081ef09679651a51ef0aa03a&amp;id=d29a8b6613&amp;e=e809db8d03\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">yma<\/a>.<br><br>Key roles are listed below, deputy roles are italicised and underneath the Minister.
