{"id":29285,"date":"2024-06-07T11:25:01","date_gmt":"2024-06-07T10:25:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/?p=29285"},"modified":"2024-06-07T14:51:23","modified_gmt":"2024-06-07T13:51:23","slug":"wsa-sports-industry-awards-2024-winners-announced-on-memorable-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/cy\/wsa-sports-industry-awards-2024-winners-announced-on-memorable-night\/","title":{"rendered":"WSA Sports Industry Awards 2024 winners announced on memorable night\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WSA Sports Industry Awards 2024 winners announced on memorable night&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/cy\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Welsh Sports Association<\/a> (WSA) is thrilled by the success of the second edition of the WSA Sports Industry Awards, which took place on the evening of Thursday 6 June 2024, with a new crop of winners announced.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once again held at the beautiful Parkgate Hotel with headline sponsors Complete Background Screening, it was an evening of celebration as the very best in Wales\u2019 sport and leisure sector were recognised by a room full of peers, partners and key stakeholders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The WSA would like to congratulate the eight winners, as well as all this year\u2019s nominees and applicants. The WSA would like to thank guests for contributing to the important work of the WSF, and member organisations WRU, Dragons Rugby, Glamorgan Cricket and Swim Wales, as well as partner Acorn by Synergie and the Parkgate Hotel, for offering generous prizes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And following, a broadcast of Duke\u2019s poem The Seed, to represent the power of sport for change and growth, the event was rounded off by an unforgettable performance of Wales at the West End.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would once again like to offer our congratulations to all applicants, nominees and finally winners of this year\u2019s WSA Sports Industry Awards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe were once again blown away by the quality of submissions this year, and thrilled that we had even more to whittle down from than last year,\u201d stated WSA CEO Andrew Howard, who also thanked the room following the presentation of awards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re absolutely delighted with another successful night, and hope everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly on what was a
