{"id":31741,"date":"2025-12-15T16:55:28","date_gmt":"2025-12-15T16:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/?p=31741"},"modified":"2025-12-15T17:00:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-15T17:00:13","slug":"the-wsa-strategic-plan-for-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/cy\/the-wsa-strategic-plan-for-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"The WSA Strategic Plan for 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WSA preparing its <strong>Strategic Plan for 2026 and beyond<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is preparing its <strong>Strategic Plan for 2026 and beyond<\/strong>, and we want your voice at the heart of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have hosted five-member consultation sessions to date, which have been insightful and helpful&nbsp;and we thank all those who have already contributed to this work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our mission in the current strategic cycle has been clear: To empower our members to be stronger and more successful, contributing towards a society fit for the future.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our three strategic goals are;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Collaborate<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 At the WSA we value partnership and the ability to connect our members with partners who can bring added value to the sector and help sport to thrive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Develop<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 We will develop and improve our services to members. Doing so will help the WSA grow. Continued collaboration is key to increasing resilience for ourselves and our members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Promote<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 We are the united and independent voice of Sport, we promote the value of the sector, and sport\u2019s role in Welsh life.&nbsp;We will always act in the best interests of our sector, promoting how together we help to improve the health and well-being of our nation.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you know, the WSA delivers a wide range of services, including business support, partnerships, training&nbsp;and education, and acts as the independent voice of the sector. We also create collaborative opportunities through the annual WSA Sports Industry Awards, Conferences, Communities, and webinars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, we want to hear a bit more&nbsp;from you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What priorities should we focus on under these three goals?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How can WSA better support your organisation and the wider sector?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What new ideas or opportunities should we explore?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your input will help shape a plan that reflects the needs and ambitions of our members, which we aim to publish in the early part of 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please submit your suggestions by <strong>Monday 5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;January 2026<\/strong>&nbsp;by completing our short online survey: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/vpynXie04B\">WSA Strategy Consultation &#8211; Written Feedback \u2013 Fill in form<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for helping us build a stronger, more connected, and thriving sport and leisure sector in Wales.
