Comms Plus for the GTCT"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Gamechanger&#8221;: The value of Content &amp; Comms Plus for the GTCT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just under 18 months ago, the Geraint Thomas Cycling Trust (GTCT) began utilising the WSA Content &amp; Comms Plus service and has since found it to be a \u201cgamechanger\u201d for the charity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within the service, the WSA has undertaken regular scheduling and posting across social media platforms and liaised with many of the charity\u2019s beneficiaries to showcase the power of its work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From featuring the wonderful social impact stories made possible by the GTCT\u2019s work, to delivering a comms plan around G\u2019s Final Race Raffle which supported the charity in raising funds around last year\u2019s Tour of Britain, Content &amp; Comms Plus has been of huge benefit to the GTCT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:12px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"774\" src=\"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_84017_www.instagram.com_-1024x774.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32130\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.3230039366104775;width:682px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_84017_www.instagram.com_-1024x774.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_84017_www.instagram.com_-300x227.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_84017_www.instagram.com_-768x580.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_84017_www.instagram.com_-16x12.jpeg 16w, https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_84017_www.instagram.com_.jpeg 1146w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWorking with the WSA enabled the trust to take its social media efforts to a new level of professionalism,\u201d confirmed GTCT Trustee Wayne Brown, \u201cwith better assets, regularly posting and improved analytics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe WSA overhauled our social presences, took us on to new channels and maintained regular drops of content on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegtct.co.uk\/\">website<\/a>, which ultimately moved all our measurement metrics in a positive direction,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Content &amp; Comms Plus service has been key to raising awareness of the Trust, digitally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the past 12 months (from April 2025 to April 2026), the GTCT\u2019s Facebook page has experienced a 5,400% increase in content interactions compared to the year prior, while impressions on Instagram have gone up by 100% to over 213,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These examples demonstrate how the service has enabled more regular, consistent and quality messaging across digital platforms for the GTCT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"522\" height=\"752\" src=\"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_8456_www.facebook.com_.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32131\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.694157004529776;width:526px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_8456_www.facebook.com_.jpeg 522w, https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_8456_www.facebook.com_-208x300.jpeg 208w, https:\/\/wsa.wales\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_27-4-2026_8456_www.facebook.com_-8x12.jpeg 8w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 522px) 100vw, 522px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe service has been hugely valuable,\u201d Wayne told us. \u201cWe\u2019ve been able to be share success stories and attract new recipients&#8217; applications via the power of social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe WSA team has therefore helped grow our reach and improved the effectiveness our charitable works. Max (Parsons, who leads on the Content &amp; Comms Plus service) has been a great partner, leading our social comms diligently, operating autonomously and following up with Trustees and Grant recipients to keep the content flowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis was particularly effective,\u201d stated Wayne, \u201caround the time of our recent raffle which generated an additional \u00a318k to mark Geraint&#8217;s retirement from professional bike racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI would recommend working with WSA;
