This week it was confirmed that UK-wide Law Firm, Geldards will be joining the WSA’s comprehensive range of helplines as our legal partner. The helplines, which are available to all members and affiliated clubs will be open for business from 1 August 2016 to offer business support advice on a wide range of subjects, from legal and taxation matters to commercial development and coaching.<\/p>\n

When asked about their new partnership with the WSA, Geldards stated they that\u00a0were\u00a0thrilled to be collaborating on a new helpline service for\u00a0WSA\u00a0members.<\/p>\n

The free legal helpline will cover a range of issues, from constitutional and governance arrangements, charitable status, commercial and contractual matters to property, employment law and dispute resolution or litigation.<\/p>\n

Geldards partner Giselle Davies said, \u201c We have worked with many sports organisations for \u00a0a number of years. \u00a0With first-hand experience of the administrative, governance and compliance issues facing sporting bodies in Wales, we understand the environment in which they operate and the ever-changing regulatory and legislative landscape.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAlong with our history of working in the sports sector, Geldards are also affiliated with Engagesport, a sports management company specialising in sports business solutions and management for brands, rights holders and professional athletes. Engagesport is run by a team of professionals with first-class knowledge and experience of the sports industry.\u201d<\/p>\n
