Physical activity through sport and active recreation has never been more important to public policy objectives than it is now. With ill-health caused by inactivity high on the Government agenda, it is imperative that organisations within the sport and active recreation sector are able to understand and navigate the political structures of a modern Wales.<\/p>\n
Working with Wales’ leading public consultancy, Positif, a comprehensive monthly briefing detailing the political and policy issues affecting the sports sector will now be available to all members via the members only section of the WSA website at the end of each month.<\/p>\n
The monitoring service covers the activities of the National Assembly, Welsh Government and political parties, and tracks all forms of legislation through the structures of the Assembly. It also encompasses relevant public bodies in Wales.<\/p>\n
