Everyone recognises that good governance and integrity are crucial in sport but what does this mean in reality?
New speakers confirmed for this exciting conference include Professor Nicola Philips, of Cardiff University and Team Wales Chef de Mission at Gold Coast 2018, who will deliver a keynote speech about the responsibilities to athletes. Also appearing at the conference will be Nicole Sapstead of UK Anti-Doping, John Donnelly of UK Sport and Dr David McArdle of Stirling University, as well as former athletes such as David Cotterill and Christian Malcolm.
They will be joined by Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson who will deliver a keynote speech about how the landscape has changed since the launch of her Duty of Care report of April 2017.
Further to a successful event last year, the conference, organised jointly by Sport Wales and Swansea University with the support of Loosemore’s Solicitors, will continue to explore the emerging agenda on ethics and integrity, with world leading thinkers and leaders in the field.
