Business Support Manager
Josephine has been our Business Support Manager since 2017 and she’s been with us since 2015 when she joined as a Business Support Officer.
She manages all of WSA’s financing (budgeting, credit control, bookkeeping etc) as well as day-to-day operational duties. Instrumental in the development of the DBS Vibrant Nation service, she’s also key with onboarding some of our bigger clients to ensure a smooth transition and welcome. As well as governance work, she also ensures that the hugely important DBS service is as accessible as possible for members and that information is always up to date.
Always keen to help the wider team and members, Josephine is regularly looking at ways of improving services and communication methods and she can often be found at the end of the dedicated DBS WSA helpline. The wider helpline is an asset is available to members and will answer questions from DBS queries to legal advice which can prove invaluable to clubs and their members.
A keen yogi & horse woman, Josephine spent four years as an Accounts Assistant in a Cardiff practice before joining the WSA team. She is AAT level 3 qualified and is also a keen event management entrepreneur having run her own business and blog.
