The Health & Wellbeing Officer is responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s health initiatives. This role connects health professionals with communities, ensuring successful delivery of health-related projects. You will support individuals to improve their health and wellbeing by offering tailored interventions or guiding them to relevant community services.
The role includes leading the FitBluebirds project, managing its promotion, planning, and delivery, ensuring all KPIs are met. You will also support wider health & wellbeing events, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s objectives in areas like Impact, Workforce, Finance, Communication, and Safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Impact
Record and monitor programme outcomes and impact using pre-designed questionnaires and case studies.
Regularly evaluate session success through participant feedback and performance data to guide future programme improvements.
Uphold equality, diversity, and inclusion in all activities.
Workforce
Plan and deliver high quality health initiatives.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Finance
Work with the marketing team to promote health initiatives.
Oversee the conversion of expressions of interest (EOIs), ensuring clear communication of project details.
Manage and maintain programme equipment, ensuring it is in good condition and ready for sessions.
Communication
Serve as the main contact for programme beneficiaries, addressing enquiries and concerns.
Provide regular updates to the Foundation’s management team and key stakeholders.
Represent the Foundation at internal and external meetings, promoting the organisation’s values and objectives.
Safeguarding & Compliance
Ensure all programme activities are conducted safely, adhering to safeguarding standards.
Maintain GDPR-compliant records, ensuring secure handling of personal data.
Apply Health and Safety regulations across all programme areas, ensuring the wellbeing of participants and staff.
Key Relationships
Internal: Foundation staff and trustees
External: Cardiff City FC staff, community members, schools, police, NGB representatives, local councils, inclusion organisations, facility providers, and other stakeholders.
