British Horseball Association Open Championships 2026

Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th October 2026
Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre, Warwickshire

The British Horseball Association Open Championships return to Onley Grounds this October for the final major competition of the British horseball season.

This year is set to be our biggest Open Championships to date, with a record-breaking number of teams entered across five competition categories and players travelling from clubs across the UK.

Horseball is a fast-paced equestrian team sport combining horsemanship, passing, attacking and defending, with teams competing to score through a vertical hoop. The sport continues to grow considerably in Great Britain, with BHA player membership having tripled since 2019.

British Horseball provides a pathway from grassroots participation through to international competition, with riders from as young as 13 having opportunities to represent Great Britain on the international stage.

The Open Championships will bring the British horseball community together for two full days of competition before concluding with our end-of-season prize giving on Sunday.

Spectators are very welcome to come along and discover horseball for themselves – free entry for all spectators!
