Over £7000 raised for Welsh Sports at Cardiff Half
16 determined supporters of the Welsh Sports Foundation raised over £7000 for the charity as they ran the Cardiff Half marathon this October.
The Welsh Sports Association and the WSF are incredibly grateful to all those who pushed themselves to complete such a big challenge, all while supporting the vital work of the charity in removing financial barriers to participation for young people across Wales.
The amount raised will enable the WSF to fund around 2250 hours of participation in sport.

Among those running for the WSF were colleagues from the sport and physical activity sector and beyond, with representatives from the FAW, Admiral, WSA partners Hugh James, and more from the running community choosing to run on behalf of the charity.
The 16 participants managed to raise over £7000 for the Foundation.
This significant sum will enable the WSF to continue having an impact on young people in local communities across the country.
The WSF strives to remove financial barriers to sport and physical activity for young people in Wales, creating a healthy and happy Wales where every individual child and young person can participate. Learn more about the charity here.
