Coaching Role Transfer to Sports Coach UK

As of 1st April our current coaching and workforce remit will be transferred to Sports Coach UK, allowing the WSA to focus on leading strategic advocacy for the sector, as well as providing business solutions to support our member organisations grow and succeed.

As part of this change, Dan Owens’ coaching officer role will move across to Sports Coach UK, which is also based at the Sport Wales National Centre. This move will provide solid continuity and we are confident that a smooth transition will ensure it is business as usual for our members.

Dan has been a great asset to the team and has provided an excellent service to our members in his time at the WSA, and we are sure that this will continue in his new role.

We will be contacting member organisations in the coming weeks to discuss how they can get involved in shaping the strategic direction of our advocacy planning, so that we can ensure our collective voice is truly reflective of our members’ views.
