Fit for the future sports facilities

The WSA have teamed up with sports facility planning specialists Just Solutions. Acting as an official partner of the WSA, Just Solutions provide support to the WSA, its’ members and their clubs in progressing the development and management of fit for the future sports facilities.

Since establishing in 2007, Just Solutions have helped organisations ranging from community associations and clubs, local authorities, facility management, colleges and universities, to national governing bodies, Sport Wales and Welsh Government. In all cases, to develop a vision for their future, providing services such as initial reviews and feasibility studies, facilities visioning and design briefs, business plans, management support, and funding applications as well as large-scale project management.

Benefits to WSA members

This collaboration enables WSA members to access a range of bespoke and specialist support services that are designed to address issues, identify and broker opportunities and facilitate the creation of new solutions.

This includes a helpline service consisting of a free one-hour consultation to discuss your organisation’s immediate and future needs and offer initial advice. You will also receive a written follow-up setting out your current situation, future requirements and an action plan for facility development.   

Beyond the free helpline advice, Just Solutions can offer members a range of detailed support services, such as;

  • Needs assessments
  • Feasibility studies
  • Funding application support
  • Advice on technical facility matters
  • Local authority and government influencing
  • Facilitated access to specialist indoor and outdoor sport facility construction and design consultants across Wales

WSA members benefit from a greatly discounted rate of £350 per day plus VAT for Just Solutions’ services (that fall outside of the initial helpline advice).
