Active4Blood join WSA as Associate Members

The Welsh Sports Association are thrilled to announce the arrival of Active4Blood as new members. The charity joins the ever-growing list of WSA member organisations.

Active4Blood is a charitable campaign specifically created to raise awareness for blood donation, while also encouraging people to maintain active lifestyles. They aim to educate the public about the large-scale positive impact of giving blood, while imploring people to donate for the benefit of the NHS and the preservation of society’s general well-being.

Speaking about the campaign’s mission, Active4Blood founder Julian Wilde-Davies said:

“We all support many different charities by fund raising and donating our hard-earned cash. Many of us take part in charity events including cycling, running, and walking. I personally find that asking the same people to support me financially time and time again is difficult.

“We all have plenty of ‘the red stuff’, so I thought why not continue to support a good cause by donating what I already have, rather than cash donations? So the Blood Sponsor concept was created; our Motto is Blood not Money

“We are particularly seeking the support from our sporting communities across Wales. So, if you would like to find out more about how you can help, please contact us and an information pack will be sent.”
