Bangor 4G Showcase – Cymru Football Foundation & WSA

On Wednesday 26th November, the Cymru Football Foundation & the WSA will be welcoming guests to Bangor City Stadium (LL57 2HQ) from 10:30am to showcase the first full-sized 4G playing surface in the U.K.

All WSA members, and specifically the WSA Facility Community members will be welcome to attend and experience first-hand this innovative technology. 

This approach provides an alternative to the current 3G surface which includes rubber-crumb infill seen widely across artificial pitches across the U.K.

The non-infill design of a 4G surface provides a higher level of environmental sustainability, is cost-effective in removing infill and reduces maintenance requirements whilst continuing to provide a high-quality playing experience for users.

We’ll hear from colleagues at the Cymru Football Foundation, WSA, Sports Labs & Tiger Turf.
