Cazoo Open
The Cazoo Open returns to the Celtic Manor from the 4th to the 7th August, for its 17th edition in all forms.
Celtic Manor has staged the tournament each time (under the titles Celtic Manor Resort Wales Open, Celtic Manor Wales Open, Saab Wales Open, ISPS Handa Wales Open, and since 2021, the Cazoo Open) and former winners include Ryder Cup stars Paul McGinley, Paul Lawrie, Ian Poulter, Robert Karlsson, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Graeme McDowell and Alex Noren, with Spaniard Nacho Elvira becoming the competition’s most recent champions last year.
The Open will once more be supported by global superstar and Welsh icon Gareth Bale.
Bale, who has made over 100 appearance for Cymru and leads the likes of Ian Rush, Mark Hughes, Dean Saunders, John Charles, and Trevor Ford in his nation’s goal scoring charts, said:
