Launch of LGBTQ+ Sport Professionals Cymru
From Welsh Sports Association (WSA) member Pride Sport Cymru
Pride Sport Cymru are delighted to launch Wales’ LGBTQ+ Sport Professionals Network.
Who is it for?
The network will be a safe space for LGBTQ+ professionals working in the sport and physical activity sector, for those aspiring to work in the sector and our allies to come together.
What are the aims?
The network aims to share knowledge, build relationships, reduce isolation in the workforce and develop a peer to peer support structure across the welsh sport and physical activity sector. Ultimately, we want to ensure that the sport and physical activity sector in Wales is a great place for LGBTQ+ people to work!
The network is also part of Pride Sports Cymru efforts to use EuroGames 2027 as a catalyst for welsh sport to be an inclusive and welcoming place.
