Welsh Airgun Championships 2023: 2/11/2023 – 5/11/2023

The Welsh Airgun Championships will take place from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th November in the National Sport Centre, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.

Competition Summary
Three days of competition with separate Individual Olympic Finals on two days and a Pairs final on one day. Electronic targets will be used for all Competitions and the Olympic Finals.

The Open Welsh Championships will be on Sunday, and it will be shot as one class, eg. Senior and Junior athletes will compete against each other.

The Confined Welsh Championships will be shot concurrently with the Open Championships.

This is a British Shooting nominated meeting.

On Thursday 2nd November there will be competitions for disabled athletes; WSPS Rifle R3, R4, R5 in the Main Hall followed by finals.

Thursday 2nd November – 16:00 to 20:00 – Unofficial training in the Main Hall.

Friday 3rd November through to Sunday 5th November there will be 4 details a day with 50 firing points available per detail.

Details will comprise the following:

Air Rifle Women, Junior Women and WSPS SH1 classified Women (R2)

Air Rifle Men, Junior Men and WSPS SH1 classified Men (R1)

Air Pistol Women, Junior Women and WSPS SH1 classified Women (P2)

Air Pistol Men, Junior Men and WSPS SH1 classified Men (P1)
