Welsh Fire vs Birmingham Phoenix – The Hundred Men’s

The Hundred returns for its second edition this August!

Welsh Fire are the only Wales-based team of the eight in the competition and, after their seventh-placed finish last time out, will be hoping for a much better innings this time around.

After a visit to last year’s champions Southern Brave and hosting Oval Invincibles, Welsh Fire play their second consecutive home fixture as they welcome Birmingham Phoenix to Sophia Gardens on Saturday 13th August. Phoenix earned a runner-up medal last time out, despite advancing straight to the final after topping the men’s standings in the group stage.

It’s another opportunity for Welsh Fire fans to see some big names in action, with Jonny Bairstow and Ollie Pope in action for the hosts and the likes of Moeen Ali and Jack Leach turning out for the visitors.
