St John Ambulance Cymru is the first aid charity for Wales, helping communities stay safe and better prepared to respond in emergencies through first aid training and community education. They also offer transport services and event medical cover at a range of sporting and community events.

- 20% discount across all courses at St John Ambulance Cymru centres
- 20% discount on all group bookings, on site, at customer venues or at WSA venues

First Aid, Mental Health and Health and Safety Training Courses
The charity trains thousands of businesses and individuals each year in a range of courses covering workplace first aid, health and safety, and mental health first aid. This includes a 1-day Sports First Aid course, suitable for anyone involved in sport in any capacity. Participants learn the basics of first aid and how to treat common sports injuries.
For more specific needs, bespoke sports first aid training can also be arranged, tailored to your requirements and the particular sport. Beyond Sports First Aid, WSA members can access a wide range of courses, from paediatric and workplace first aid to CPR, outdoor first aid, manual handling, and other tailored training options.
Medical Event Cover
St John Ambulance Cymru provides medical cover at major events such as sporting events held at The Principality Stadium, the Newport Full Marathon, the Swansea and Cardiff Half Marathons and the National Eisteddfods. They tailor their services to each event, ensuring they align with risk assessments and meet national standards. Event
cover includes trained professionals, ambulances, a range of emergency vehicles, and mobile treatment centres.
