Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council join WSA as Associate Member  

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is delighted to welcome Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (RCTCBC) to the membership base as an Associate Member.   

The third largest local authority in Wales, part of RCTCBC’s work involves helping the population of Rhondda Cynon Taf become more active, more often. This all comes under the umbrella of RCT Leisure, Sport and Parks Dept includes 13 leisure facilities,19 artificial pitches, (3G and astroturf), 3 athletics tracks, Lido Ponty, Visitor Attractions, Special Events, Heritage, grass pitches, parks administration and play areas. 

The service delivers inclusive safe sport and physical activities to a wide range of customers in partnership with Sport RCT, Health Development, Sports Cubs, Community Organisations, Schools, and National Governing Bodies.  

As a member of the WSA, RCTCBC will take advantage of our extensive network of sporting organisation to network with the sector, as well as CPD opportunities and our facilities community.
