Independent Chairperson
Paddle Cymru is looking for an Independent Chairperson to lead our Board and help drive the continued growth and development of paddlesport across Wales.
This is an opportunity to use your skills and experience to support a thriving sporting community, influence strategic decision-making and help deliver lasting benefits for members, clubs and volunteers throughout Wales.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, you will provide leadership, champion good governance and ensure Paddle Cymru remains well placed to achieve its ambitions.
We are particularly keen to hear from individuals who can bring fresh perspectives from outside the sport. Experience in paddlesport is not required.
We are looking for someone who can:
– Provide strategic leadership and effective governance.
– Chair and develop a high-performing Board.
– Build positive relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
– Support and challenge the organisation to achieve its objectives.
– Act as an ambassador for Paddle Cymru and the sport across Wales.
