WSA excited to attend and speak at Elevate Conference 2023

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is excited to attend the Elevate Conference 2023 on the 14th and 15th of June!

Now in its seventh edition, Elevate is the beating heart of the B2B sport and fitness community. Run by the industry, for the industry, it is committed to bringing new networking opportunities, products and the latest innovation into one space to help elevate both your business and the drive to improve national fitness.

Hosted at the ExCel Centre in London, it is the UK’s largest trade show dedicated to fitness, sport and physical activity.

Thousands of decision makers from gyms, studios, sport clubs, universities, personal training, schools and private practice will meet over 250 leading suppliers, exhibiting over a thousand solutions and product innovations specially designed to ‘elevate’ the UK’s physical activity levels.

Annually playing host to unrivalled networking and delivering unparalleled learning from over 200 expert speakers, Elevate is made possible by the support of over 50 industry associations, media partners and NGOs.

The WSA is thrilled to be just one of over 200 expert speakers at the conference, with CEO Andrew Howard set to address the ExCel Centre as part of a panel from 15.30 to 16.15 on Wednesday 14th of June!

The session, entitled Control your Controllables: managing costs in financially challenging times, will delve into the pressures on businesses to cut costs and increase efficiency among the global energy and cost-of-living crisis.

Alongside fellow industry experts, Andrew will discuss various strategies and solutions that gyms, leisure facilities, and organisations can implement to manage their costs during these challenging times.

With Andrew will be quikswitch’s Darren Williams, Claire Rollins and Steven Scales from Gladstone, and Orbit4’s Daniel Jones.

The panellists will cover topics such as energy-efficient equipment, sustainable practices, staff training and development, supply chain management, innovative revenue-generating opportunities, and effective procurement opportunities such as the WSA’s Procurement Portal for Sport & leisure, powered by partners 2buy2.

The WSA is thoroughly looking forward to being a part of this renowned event, and hope to see as many familiar faces as possible as we gather at the ExCel Centre in London.
