WSA CEO, Andrew Howard, commented:

“We are delighted and inspired to have received such a fantastic response to hosting the second edition of the WSA Sports Industry Awards.

“We are thrilled to have had such an array of strong submissions, which demonstrates the outstanding work that the sport and leisure sector in Wales is delivering to make Wales a better place by delivering on Welsh Government’s wellbeing goals.

“The judging panel worked long and hard to determine shortlists of just three submissions per award category, and we can’t wait to celebrate the work of all of these organisations and the eventual winners in June.

“The WSA would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone who took the time to apply for the Awards. Most might have missed out on shortlists, but the phenomenal work delivered by our membership – often behind the scenes across sport and leisure – has not gone unnoticed, and we look forward to sharing all of these successes with influential stakeholders at Sport Wales and within Welsh Government.

“Pob lwc i bawb!”
