WSA Sports Industry Awards Sponsor Showcase: Acorn by Synergie 

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is delighted that partners Acorn by Synergie will be supporting the WSA Sports Industry Awards 2023! 

Acorn by Synergie, a complete recruitment solution for any organisation, are sponsoring the Best Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative award, the winner of which will be announced as we gather at the Parkgate Hotel on the evening of 8th of June.

“Acorn has a long tradition in supporting sports and sports development throughout Wales,” explained Sara, “with not just the WSA, but also with FAW, Welsh Cycling, Commonwealth Games Wales and the Cardiff City FC Foundation to name but a few. 

“We chose the EDI award specifically as we believe an integrated approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is essential for both our, and our partners’, success.   

“Acorn having been working hard to improve engagement in this area and are keen with our paters to share best practice and learn from each other.  

“It’s an important factor across the board,” continued Sara, “but in sport and leisure it can be a real gateway to inclusivity, breaking down so many barriers and promoting equality. Sport can reach such a wide diverse audience and can impact across all genders, ages, ethnic origins and all protective characteristics in fact. It empowers people.”
