We Swim Wild joins WSA as Full Members
The Welsh Sports Association is thrilled to announce the recent arrival of We Swim Wild to the WSA membership base.
WSW is a non-profit organisation that helps improve and protect people’s health and wellbeing – and in the process helps preserve the planet’s – by connecting them through cold water experiences and purposeful adventure.
They raise awareness to protect wild waters and the intrinsic link with climate issues, through adventure activism campaigns, education programmes and impactful environmental research.
By actively encouraging the public to swim wild, WSW empowers people with the knowledge and tools to protect what they love.
Based in Wales, We Swim Wild also host wild swim tours, eco retreats and guided wild swim sessions with fully trained breath work coaches and RLSS open water and beach lifeguards.
Having joined as Full Members, WSW will now look to specifically utilise the WSA’s DBS Checking Service for Sport & Leisure, as well as partner offers for insurance.
Managing Director at We Swim Wild, Laura Owen Sanderson, said:
We are thrilled to be a member of the WSA.
The reach across the sector they have, the opportunity for community and networking with other Welsh organisations, and the support and advice available for a swimming organisation such as ours, is imperative!
