Welsh Fire vs Southern Brave – The Hundred Men’s

The Hundred returns for its second edition this August!

Welsh Fire are the only Wales-based team of the eight in the competition and, after their seventh-placed finish last time out, will be hoping for a much better innings this time around.

Welsh Fire will run out against reigning champions for the second time of the competition on Monday 22nd August as Southern Brave come into town from the south coast. Despite narrowly missing out on last year’s group-stage top spot, Southern Brave came through the Eliminator against Trent Rockets and went on to win the final. The Fire will have played them in their opening fixture of the tournament already, and host them at Sophia Gardens for their third home game of this year’s edition.

And it is yet another chance for fans to watch some exciting names ion thrilling action! While the likes of Jonny Bairstow and Ollie Pope will feature for the hosts, Glamorgan Cricket’s home will play host to names such as Jofra Archer and Quinton de Kock.
