Speaking to BBC Wales on Thursday morning, Professor Laura McAllister discussed Ministerial appointments and a new emphasis on preventative health.
“Sport particularly, but culture also, brings incredible economic dividends to our country,” she stated.
“The work I’m doing next week with UEFA will be representing Wales on the world stage and I think, to be fair, the government understands how we can leverage benefits economically from that work.”
The WSA will continue to work with Welsh Government, Sport Wales and the Senedd to advocate on behalf of the breadth of our membership base and state the case for investment in the sport and physical activity sector.
