The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is once again delighted to be able to collaborate with partner Watkin Davies – an Allianz broker partner – to promote investment into the sport and leisure sector to support a range of community clubs across Wales.

There were a number of success stories from 2023, with the Allianz Sports Fund supporting several club across Wales in sports including Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Hockey and Basketball.

So far, the Fund has awarded grants totalling £300,000, helping 180 clubs across the UK to deliver sports programmes in their communities.

With the first round of funding for 2024 now open, the WSA urges clubs to apply for the Allianz Sports Fund through our partner and Allianz broker partner Watkin Davies.
