Make the best use of your time whilst at Wales Week London on the 27th February 2024.

As communicated last week, the The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) in collaboration with Swim Wales, are to host a Wales Week London event ‘Marginal Gains in Sports and Business’.

The WSA and Swim Wales will be joined by the 2018 Commonwealth Butterfly Champion Alys Thomas and 2014 Commonwealth Backstroke Champion Georgia Davies.

Attendees will embark on a captivating journey of insight as elite athletes generously share their strategies for pushing the boundaries of physical performance. Colleagues will discover how their relentless pursuit of marginal gains propelled them to the pinnacle of success.

The Wales Week London event will be held at Queen Mother Sports Centre 223 Vauxhall Bridge Rd, Pimlico, London SW1V 1EL, from 12pm – 14.00 on Tuesday 27th Feb 2024.

Furthermore, our wonderful members Welsh Athletics, Commonwealth Games Team Wales, and Mauve Group will be welcoming colleagues to a night of Welsh sport, business, and culture – featuring illustrious sporting speakers who are leading the charge for equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson will be delivering one of keynote speeches at the event. Joining Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson is Christian Malcolm, retired Welsh sprinter, renowned athletics coach, and advocate for inclusivity and diversity in sport.  Paralympian and world record-holding shot put champion, Aled Siôn Davies OBE, will also be in conversation on the night.

This Wales Week London event will be held at St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation & Peace, 78 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG, from 18.00 on Tuesday 27th Feb 2024.
