WSA Procurement Portal provides crucial opportunity for savings

The Welsh Sports Association Sport and Leisure Procurement Portal, powered by 2buy2 and open to both WSA and Community Leisure UK (CLUK), can support organisations to make significant savings.

The WSA has worked with strategic partners CLUK, establishing solutions to support the sector amid the financial challenges faced since the onset of COVID-19 and now the cost-of-living crisis.

To support members through the existential threats posed by current financial challenges, the Procurement Portal offers great opportunities to make economies of scale.

The procurement portal provides self-service access to a range of approved supplier lists, framework agreements, quotes and pricing from pre-accredited suppliers. There will also be access to a series of best practice procurement guides, templates, and procedures free of charge for WSA and CLUK members.

There are opportunities available through 2buy2’s existing product categories, including electricity, gas, water, chemicals, telecoms, cleaning products, IT support, HR support, solar solutions, broadband and more! Additional demand-led services and products will continue to be added to the portal as and when required.

Many organisations in Wales have already been taken of advantage of the Procurement Portal.

One grassroots club, the Race Association Football Club â€“ a club affiliated to the FAW – announced this month that, courtesy of the partnership between the WSA and 2buy2, they made significant savings on their energy costs.

The club confirmed that, through 2buy2, they’d had a saving of 60% on unit price with a 29% saving on standing charge!
