WSA supporting Chwarae Teg and FairPlay Employer for Inclusive Leadership Programme

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) are delighted to be supporting and promoting the Inclusive Leadership Programme designed and delivered by Chwarae Teg and FairPlay Employer.

This course (which already only has limited space remaining!) is designed specifically for the sport and leisure sector and aims at creating inclusive leaders who focus on building and maintaining effective teams where every member feels that they belong.

There are ten learning modules and a suite of workshops that interconnect with each other to create the Inclusive Leadership Programme. The learning modules are exploratory learning experiences, whereby we focus on practical learning and discussion to ensure that new skills and knowledge can be transferred and applied in the workplace immediately.

The course’s objectives are to develop leaders to be emotionally intelligent and effective, equip them with the tools needed to confidently manage hybrid & agile teams and focus on wellbeing, and ultimately create future focussed leaders, who can build high performing teams to ensure organisation success and sustainability.

The learning journey will:

  • Strengthen & develop leadership skills
  • Offer practical tools to enable participants to lead on inclusive practice
  • Provide an engaging and interactive learning experience
  • Participants can also choose to complete an ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership & Management

Participants will go through ten modules and five workshops before attaining that ILM Level 5 Award. The price of the course is £1,460 + VAT.

Please get in touch with the WSA team if you have any further queries!
