WSA to welcome members and stakeholders to launch new strategy
The WSA will welcome members and stakeholders from far and wide as it kicks off a new strategic cycle and launches a new strategy for 2026 – 2030.
The WSA encourage members to attend on Monday 13th July 2026, in the Grieg Room, the Norwegian Church, Harbour Drive, Cardiff Bay, CF10 4PA from 11.00-13.00.

If you are unable to attend, you are very welcome to share the invitation with a colleague, so that your organisation is represented.
We look forward to kicking off yet new chapter for the WSA, reflecting on achievement from the past three years as well as looking ahead to the challenge of the next few.
As well as discussing the workings of the WSA, we are thoroughly excited to have a few members deliver interactive activities for attendees, including one project that walked away from the 2026 WSA Sports Industry Awards last month with the Best Innovation Award!

11:35: Member Panel Chat – Paul Whapham – CEO Hoci Cymru, Beth Thomas -CEO Street Football Wales and Grant Poiner – CEO, Boys and Girls Clubs of Wales, in conversation with Lauren Salter.
11:50: WSA Strategy Launch 2026-2030
12:00: Member Panel Chat – Helen Antoniazzi – Head of External Affairs and Sustainability Football Association of Wales, and Kerry Skidmore, Governance and Safeguarding Manager for Welsh Shooting & Lead Safeguarding Officer at Pentathlon GB, respond to new strategy commitments in conversation with Lauren Salter.
