This is a full-time permanent position, working 37 hours per week

Our Aquatics Manager has responsibility to lead and grow our high-performing Learn to Swim programme, one of our region’s success stories. This is your chance to take ownership of a thriving operation, inspire a dedicated team, and recruit and nurture the next generation of swimming teachers. With the highly anticipated new leisure centre opening in early 2027, there has never been a more exciting time to join us.
Main responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the aquatics team
- Manage the aquatics budget, human resource and be accountable for commericial performance of the aquatics programmes
- Regularly review and report on the participation and financial performance of the programmes and take necessary action where and when required
- Lead on the identification and recruitment of swimming teachers
- Work collaboratively to ensure lessons remain operational
Additional requirements:
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a successful Disclosing and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Flexibility to work unsociable hours including evenings and weekends is required.
Due to the need to travel between sites or occasionally to other loations, a full UK driving licence and the willingness to add business class insurance is beneficial to your application.
