Beicio Cymru launch new brand and strategy at Team GB send-off Festiva
The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) was thrilled to attend member organisation Beicio Cymru Team GB send-off Festiva on Saturday 27 July, where the organisation launched their new brand and strategy.
The event was a huge success with members of the Beicio Cymru team, colleagues from GB Cycling and an array of sponsors, partners, volunteers, and of course so many amazing children coming together to enjoy themselves on two wheels!
The variety of the event was excellent, with exciting skills challenges, cycle speedway and pump track activities, as well as glorious Welsh cakes! It was a day full of energy and enthusiasm, and a wonderful showcase of cycling and the new Beicio Cymru brand.
If you have any questions about the new Beicio Cymru strategy or would like to get in touch to explore Cycle Speedway, Cyclocross, BMX, Triathlon, Racing or Time Trail – please contact the team at [email protected].
Check out their website for further details, too!
Beicio Cymru CEO Caroline Spanton commented via LinkedIn:
“It’s been a busy few months to say the least, and seeing months of hard work come to life last week was an incredibly proud, motivating and inspiring moment.
“We launched our new six-year strategy for Wales, Made for Bikes, with our clear purpose ‘to lead and empower the sport of cycling’. The strategy was totally brought to life across all of our new pillars, with engagement at the Royal Welsh, our Team GB send-off Festiva in Newport, pathway camps going on for our young talent and so much more.”
Director of Development at Beicio Cymru, Robbie George, also on LinkedIn, added:
“(It was) a real team effort at Beicio Cymru’s Team GB send-off Festiva at our home in Newport, as we showcased the wonderful world of cycling and our fantastic new brand.
“Hundreds of children got to explore cycle speedway, cyclocross, bmx, triathlon, racing, TT, power tests, and skills, whilst meeting Team Wales & GBCT stars. It makes my heart sing seeing kids blasting around on bikes exploring what they like.”
