Cardiff Chameleons join WSA as Full Members

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) are thrilled to welcome Cardiff Chameleons to our membership base as a Full Member!

Cardiff Chameleons‘ Club provides opportunities for people with learning disabilities to enjoy bowls and swimming.

The core aim of the club is to help each member to develop their confidence, self-esteem and social skills, alongside developing their bowling or swimming skills.

Every member is respected and valued within the club, while social interaction is encouraged in a safe environment.

Cardiff Chameleons Treasurer, Barrie Jenkins, stated:

“As a successful and growing Club supporting people with Learning Disabilities, we need the support of a large organisation such as Welsh Sports Association.

“The organisation can provide us with the support and training of our volunteers, and also ensure the club is doing everything possible to support our athletes.”

As a Full Member, Cardiff Chameleons join the WSA looking to utilise the value-for-money insurance solutions available to them as well as addressing their governing documents with the use of our templates. They will also aim to take advantage of other WSA services, such as our DBS checking service for sport and leisure.

Make sure to check out our full range of services to find out how we can support your organisation.
