There are two courses immediately available with Welsh transcripts, furthering the WSA’s commitment to the development and utilisation of the Welsh language.
The online training course, Introduction to Sports Governance in Wales, is delivered by industry expert Amanda Bennett and is designed to broaden an individuals’ basic understanding of sports governance principles and practice in Wales.
The Legal Structures for Sports Clubs training course is delivered by WSA partner Hugh James, and is designed for everyone working, or volunteering in the sport and leisure sector to broaden an individual’s understanding of the various legal structures available to sports organisations and clubs.
Both of these courses will conclude with a multiple-choice assessment; and upon completion, candidates will receive a certificate.
If you’re a registered WSA member you will automatically receive a discount of 20% on all courses listed on the platform.
WSA members are encouraged to share with their not-for-profit member clubs, as they too can benefit from the WSA membership rates! Alternatively, the WSA can organise bulk purchases of the courses with WSA members, who are keen to purchase on their member clubs behalf.
Individuals who previously completed the WSA COVID-19 online training course will automatically receive an email containing new log-in details to access the portal and the new training courses. They will also be able to retrieve their previous COVID-19 course certificate.
