WSA to host Facilities Community Webinar this June

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is piloting a new initiative, a range of WSA networking ‘communities’ for individuals working across different domains within the sport and leisure sector to access.  The first of these will be the WSA Facilities Community Webinar, set to take place on the morning of Tuesday 18 June.

Much like our Phased Return to Sport groups during the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognise the importance of collaboration across likeminded communities.

As our networks have evolved and personnel have moved onto different roles and responsibilities, we’re looking to get individuals back to together to share knowledge and best practice.

The first WSA Facilities Community Webinar will take place on the Tuesday 18 June from 10.00 to 11:30 via Teams.

We will hear from the following WSA members:

  • Aled Lewis – Director, Cymru Football Foundation to discuss the future of 3G.
  • David Cornwell – Owner of Welsh Padel Centre to discuss the growth of Welsh Padel
  • Dan Nicholls – Commercial Sales Manager at Dragons RFC to highlight how best to Commercialise a sporting facility.

We are excited to once again bring the sector together to share knowledge and best practice models. To sign up for this free webinar, please click here.
