WSA Members invited to take part in Onboard Earth project

WSA members have been invited to participate in a project being delivered by one of Event Wales’ Sustainability Innovation Fund recipients, Onboard Earth. Onboard Earth are delivering a Transport Accelerator Project with the aim of supporting the Welsh events sector to adopt more sustainable transport practices.  Onboard Earth are also official partners of WSA partner organisation You.Smart.Thing. who attended the recent WSA Sustainability Conference.

Onboard.earth have been awarded funding by the Welsh Government’s Event Wales Sustainability Innovation Fund to deliver a Sustainable Event Travel Accelerator project. The output of this project will be a practical sustainable travel guide, travel plan and data collection template for Welsh event organisers to be able to use.  As part of this process, we are looking to engage with 8-10 key stakeholders from different sectors including events, transport, Government and the research sector. We would like to gain insights from different perspectives into the challenges and solutions for the Welsh transport sector.
