BaseballSoftballUK join WSA as a Full Member

The Welsh Sports Association (WSA) is delighted to announce that BaseballSoftballUK have joined the WSA as a Full Member!

In operation since 2000 and incorporated in 2007, BaseballSoftballUK is the national development and performance agency for baseball and softball in the United Kingdom. BaseballSoftballUK is the accountable body for safeguarding baseball and softball, and for government investment into the sports.

The agency’s purpose is to increase participation, make the sports even more inclusive, and improve the overall playing experience and drive elite performance of the national squads.

As a Full Member, BaseballSoftballUK will look to make use of the WSA’s advocacy support as well as the Procurement Portal for Sport & Leisure, while also reviewing solutions from the likes of CalQRisk and our insurance partners!

Head of Operations at BaseballSoftballUK, Erica Barrett, commented:

“We are excited to join the Welsh Sports Association as a Full Member, and to utilise their knowledge and resources to grow the games of baseball and softball in Wales. With their local expertise, the local clubs and leagues in Wales will be in the best position possible to succeed, and we look forward to working with the WSA across our work!”

Commercial Manager at the WSA, Tom Sharp, added:

“The WSA is thrilled to welcome BaseballSoftballUK to the membership base, and we look forward to supporting their mission of growing the sport in Wales.

“The WSA exists to strengthen and support members, encouraging enterprise, innovation and growing potential, and we’re delighted that BaseballSoftballUK has seen the value in our ability to collaborate, develop and promote their work.”
