Beicio Cymru is excited to announce a special event to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Welsh athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics. Join Becio Cymru on Wednesday, 30th October, at Newport Velodrome for a day filled with excitement, activities, and a chance to meet the Olympians!

What’s happening?
This free event, supported by Newport Live and Beicio Cymru staff, will offer a variety of cycling activities and interactive sessions, perfect for young riders aged 3 to 16, who a responsible adult must accompany. You can choose either the morning or afternoon session and enjoy a day of fun and inspiration.
During the lunchtime Q&A session, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from our athletes who made us proud at the Paris 2024 Games. Anna Morris and Jess Roberts, who clinched a bronze medal in the women’s team pursuit will share their experience, while travelling reserve, Meg Barker will talk through her experience of the games. We will also welcome Paralympic gold medallists, James Ball and Steffan Lloyd to share their inspiring stories.
In addition to the Q&A, There will be autograph opportunities, exciting bike activities like balance challenges, and festival-style fun for everyone to enjoy.

While the event is free, advance registration is required. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to meet the cycling stars and be part of the celebration of Welsh sporting success.
